五、主讲人简介：

Paul Harris is the Victor S. Thomas Professor of Education at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education in the United States. He has previously served as an editorial board member for prestigious international journals such as Child Development and Human Development. He is interested in the early development of cognition, emotion, and imagination. His work explores how children navigate the challenge of trusting others' statements in areas that are difficult to observe firsthand, such as history, science, and religion. His most recent book, Trusting What You're Told: How Children Learn from Others, was published by Harvard University Press in May 2012.

保罗·哈里斯（PaulHarris），美国哈佛大学教育学院VictorS.Thomas教育教授，曾担任国际顶级期刊《儿童发展》《人类发展》等期刊编委。哈里斯教授专注于儿童认知、情感和想象力早期发展的研究。他的研究探讨了儿童如何在难以亲身观察的领域（如历史、科学和宗教）中，选择信任他人的话语。著作包括《信你所闻：儿童如何学习他人》等。

Children’s emotion understanding could predict their social adaption significantly. In this talk, Professor Paul Harris will introduce the development of emotion understanding in children based on the results of Test of Emotion Comprehension (TEC), and discuss the extent of cultural variation in performance.

儿童的情绪理解能力对良好的社会适应有着显著的预测作用。在本次讲座中，保罗·哈里斯教授基于情绪理解测验（TEC）的系列结果，探讨情绪理解能力是如何在儿童中发展的，并讨论可能存在的文化差异。
